Done Dirt Cheap DVD

Apocalypse Now is a 1970s American adventure drama epic war film; about a 1960s military mission during the Vietnam War, to find a renegade colonel, now a philosophical, brutal cult leader in the Cambodian jungle; on their river journey, the crew go surfing amid napalm attacks (while Richard Wagner's Ride Of The Valkyries plays on helicopter loudspeakers), encounter a tiger, see a Playboy Playmates show, take drugs, are ambushed by native tribal warriors and meet a manic photographer; its difficult production is the subject of a documentary; the Redux version runs an additional 49 minutes
