Pink Flamingos, 1972

Pink Flamingos is a 1970s American transgressive underground exploitation black comedy crime film; about a dysfunctional criminal family who live in a trailer/caravan and their competition with a perverse couple over who is the "filthiest"; set in Baltimore, Maryland; the lead role is played by an obese drag queen with punk attitude; its numerous shocking scenes caused controversy and led to much censorship, including being banned in Australia (later rated X for 1980s VHS)
