The Producers, 1968

The Producers is a 1960s American satirical black comedy film; about a washed-up Broadway producer and his accountant, who devise a scheme to defraud investors by creating a flop deliberately; they chose the worst play (pro-Adolf Hitler, written by an ex-Nazi), the worst director (who turns it into a musical), and the worst cast (a flower power hippie as Hitler); set in New York City
